Agents Kit is a portable Codex-first agent system built for WordPress theming workflows. The kit is designed around a staged section pipeline that moves from static source analysis, to PHP implementation, to ACF field mapping, and then final security review.
The workflow helps automate and standardize how WordPress sections are converted into production-ready theme components. Instead of treating AI as a generic code assistant, the kit gives Codex a structured process for understanding the theme context, locating the right files, and generating code that fits the existing project architecture.
The system detects key WordPress theme context such as section include directories, CSS or SCSS entry points, JavaScript entry files, ACF JSON directories, ACF Flexible Content groups, and field structure. This allows the agent workflow to make better implementation decisions instead of guessing where code should live.
It also reads project tooling signals, including package manager hints, package scripts, npm dependencies, Composer packages, and build tool indicators. This helps the agent understand whether a project uses Vite, Sass, Tailwind, Bootstrap, jQuery, Swiper, GSAP, React, Vue, TypeScript, ESLint, Prettier, PhotoSwipe, Lazysizes, Recaptcha, Timber, Twig, ACF, PHPUnit, PHPStan, or other common WordPress development tools.
The result is a reusable agent framework that improves consistency, reduces setup time, and makes WordPress theme development more predictable when working with Codex across multiple projects.
