Pep Boys Email Development

Pep Boys Email Development was a responsive HTML email project focused on translating a static design into a clean branded email template with reliable rendering across different email clients and ESPs.

The development process focused on creating a polished email experience that remained visually consistent while accounting for the limitations and quirks of modern email rendering engines. Since email clients handle markup differently than browsers, the build prioritized stable layout structure, inline-friendly styling, spacing consistency, and responsive behavior.

The email was developed using Dreamweaver with hand-coded HTML and CSS following email-safe development practices for improved compatibility and predictable rendering behavior across desktop and mobile inboxes.

Litmus was used to test compatibility across multiple email clients and ESP environments. This helped validate layout behavior, identify rendering inconsistencies, and refine the template for a more dependable inbox experience.

The result is a polished responsive email build that stays close to the original design while maintaining reliable cross-client compatibility and clean branded presentation.
